RedNexus Academy Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using RedNexus Academy. By accessing our website, registering, purchasing a course, or using our labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Eligibility & Account Security

  • Eligibility: You must be of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our services. Minors may only use the platform with parental, guardian, or institutional consent.
  • Account Responsibility: Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for all activities under your account and must use a strong password.
🚨 Account Sharing is Strictly Prohibited: Sharing, selling, or renting your account is completely forbidden. If discovered, your account will be permanently terminated without refund.

2. Cybersecurity Ethics & Legal Use (Critical)

RedNexus Academy teaches cybersecurity skills for defensive, educational, and authorized testing purposes only.

  • You must not use the knowledge, tools, scripts, or methods learned here to gain unauthorized access, execute malicious attacks, steal data, spread malware, or illegally bypass security.
  • You may only conduct penetration testing or vulnerability assessments on systems you own or have documented, explicit permission to test.
  • Indemnification: You agree to release and hold harmless RedNexus Academy from any claims or damages arising from your misuse of the provided skills or tools.

3. Lab Environment Rules

Our hands‑on labs, CTF challenges, and simulated networks are strictly controlled environments:

  • You must not pivot from the lab environment to attack unauthorized systems.
  • You must not upload real personal data, production credentials, private keys, or confidential company information into the labs unless explicitly permitted.
  • You must not use our labs to host illegal content, phishing pages, botnets, or command‑and‑control infrastructure.
  • RedNexus Academy reserves the right to monitor, reset, or disable lab environments at any time for security or operational reasons.

4. Courses, Access & Certification Preparation

  • Content Changes: We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace course content, instructors, schedules, or lab requirements at any time.
  • Third‑Party Certifications: Cybersecurity certifications change frequently. We update courses at our discretion, but we do not guarantee that our content will always align with the latest third‑party exam versions.
  • Access Periods: If "lifetime access" is offered, it means access for as long as RedNexus Academy continues to support that specific course on its platform — it does not mean permanent access to all future replacement products.
  • Certificates: Certificates are issued based on completion and integrity. We reserve the right to revoke certificates obtained through cheating or fraud. Certificates do not guarantee employment or exam success.

5. Intellectual Property (IP)

  • Our Content: All videos, slides, labs, code, and materials are owned by RedNexus Academy. You are granted a limited, non‑transferable license for personal educational use only.
  • Prohibited Actions: You must not copy, download, redistribute, resell, scrape, or publicly share course content. You must not upload our materials to torrent sites, file‑sharing platforms, or use them to create competing courses.
  • Your Content: You retain ownership of submissions you provide (assignments, posts). By submitting them, you grant RedNexus Academy a license to use, assess, and store them for platform operations.

6. Technical Requirements & Anti‑Piracy

To protect our content, we may use technical restrictions such as DRM, watermarks, and anti‑recording tools. We may block access from unauthorized tools, rooted devices, or virtual machines. Refunds will not be issued solely because your preferred device or recording tool is not supported.

7. Payments & Refund Policy

  • Pricing: Prices and promotions may change at any time but will not affect completed purchases.
  • Refund Window: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
    • If a significant portion of the course content has been accessed, materials downloaded, or live sessions attended.
    • Your account has been suspended or terminated due to Terms violations (e.g., account sharing, cheating).
    • If you engaged in unauthorized redistribution or misuse.
  • Note: Payment processor fees, taxes, and promotional/bundle purchases may be fully non‑refundable.
  • Subscriptions: Subscriptions renew automatically. You must cancel before the next billing date to stop charges. Cancellation does not refund the current billing period.

8. Academic Integrity & Community Rules

  • No Cheating: Using unauthorized tools, AI, or third‑party assistance in exams, sharing exam answers/flags, or submitting someone else's work is completely forbidden. Penalties include a zero score, certificate revocation, and permanent ban.
  • Community Rules: In forums or chats, you must not harass, threaten, discriminate, share doxxed data, or spam. RedNexus Academy reserves the right to moderate or remove any content at its discretion.

9. Monitoring

To prevent abuse, protect intellectual property, and ensure security, RedNexus Academy actively monitors platform activity, including login events, IP addresses, video usage, lab commands, and network metadata.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately (without refund) if you violate these Terms, engage in illegal cyber activities, share your account, or fail your payment.

11. Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability

  • "As Is" Basis: Services are provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free access, nor do we guarantee that our training covers every possible cyber threat.
  • Not Legal Advice: The content is educational and should not be considered legal or professional consulting advice.
  • Liability Cap: To the fullest extent permitted by law, RedNexus Academy's total liability for any claim does not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in the three months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater. We are not liable for lost profits, exam failures, or employment outcomes.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Before taking any formal legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hossamshady@rednexus.com for at least 30 days.
